An attractive web presence is a must for any business that markets Costa Rica to an international clientele. The Internet is the most effective method to deal with the challenge of geography and capture that niche market. A poorly designed or unattractive website is one of the quickest ways to turn off a prospect.

Quite frankly any business that is still paying for Internet bandwidth and is anything short of mass media is wasting money.

The bottom line is that a web presence should produce results while making the business look good. Stay away from templates and services that require the continued use of a particular hosting provider, and don’t waste money on intensive artwork and “creative design” that will likely be discarded in the next update or technology refresh.
